Lindsey Vonn is a well known World Cup champion ski racer who was born in 1984, October 18th. She loved skiing and was on skis at the age of two, before moving into the Erich sailor renowned development program at the Buck Hill which is also produced slalom racer named Kristina Koznick. Her father supported her a lot as he also won a national junior title before a knee injury which he had at the age of 18th year. When Lindsey was ten years old she met Olympic gold medal ski racer Picabo Street whom she considered as her role model. This meeting was so helpful and left such an impression on Street that she remembered the meeting and later on she served Vonn as her skiing mentor. Lindsey completed her high school from an online program through the university’s center for distance and independent learning from University of Missouri.

Lindsey competed with the United States Ski Team and she won four overall four World Cup championships three consecutive titles which were in 2008, 2009 and 2010 and the fourth one was in 2012, there are only two female skiers to do so.
She have won the World Cup races in all of the five discipline of alpine skiing and in total 59 world cup races in her throughout career, she is one of the six women who did this achievement.
Lindsey has enjoyed a significant amount of media attention for an alpine skier which helped her making her the face of her sport in the US; she also appeared in many TV shows and picked up endorsements from the notable companies.
Tiger woods was previously married to Swedish model Eline Nordegren, but they get divorced in 2010 after he revealed a series of extramarital affair and now he is having a relationship with Lindsey Vonn.
